What is TELUS WebMail?

TELUS Webmail is a web-mail email service, the preferred method of accessing, managing and using TELUS.net email accounts. TELUS Webmail provides access to email, contacts, tasks and calendar by simply logging in to the webmail portal from any Internet connection.

How to create My TELUS account?

Using a My TELUS account you can view or pay your TELUS bills, add or make changes to your TELUS plans, track your monthly data usage, get exclusive offers and more

To register in My TELUS, you will need your phone number or account number as it appears on your bill. Once you have that information, create your profile on My TELUS by following the instructions below.

• Go to TELUS home page
• Click on Login on right side on top
• Then click on Create a My TELUS account link on login page
• Or visit here directly their register page
• Under Account Information
  – Enter your email
  – Sign up using your TELUS phone number or account number as it appears on your bill
  – Enter postal code
  – Select Continue
• Next Under Verification code section
  – Select the email or phone number where you would like to receive it
  – Choose whether your prefer to receive your verification code via text, email or automated phone call
  – Select Send code
• Create a profile
  – Once your verification code has been entered and they are confirmed your identity, you’ll be asked to create your profile.
  – Enter your first name and last name
  – Create your password
  – Select a security question and give your answer. Your security question will be used in case you forget your email or username.
  – Select Create account
• Confirmation
  – Once you’ve successfully provided all the necessary information for My TELUS account you will see a success message letting you know your profile has been created.

Change your TELUS email password

• Open My TELUS
• Navigate to Internet > Email
• Find the email address you want to change the password for
• Go to Change password
• Choose a contact method and select Send code
• Enter the code you received and select Submit
• Enter your new password and select Change password
• Your email account password is now updated. You may now log into your email account using this password.

TELUS Webmail Log in

• First open this webpage.
• Enter your Username and Password.
• Then click on the Continue button.

How to change or reset Webmail password

• Go to telus.net Webmail
• Select Forgot?
• Enter your TELUS email address
• If you already setup a recovery email method, a password reset link will be sent to you.
• If you already setup a recovery mobile phone number, a passcode will be sent to your phone.
• Create a new password

How to setup a recovery method

• Login to your telus.net Webmail
• If you are first time logging into TELUS webmail, you will be prompted to add a recovery email and mobile number. Follow the step-by-step instructions
• If you do not receive a prompt, go to Preferences > Security > Password in the top left hand corner of your webmail and enter an alternate email address and mobile phone number

How To Access in TELUS Webmail Log in?

Ways to Log In:

Webmail is all online, so there’s nothing for your to set up. Simply log into using one of the Approaches below:

Option 1: Direct Login

• Open your Browser In your PC or Laptop.
• Visit their webmail login page.
• Enter your Username and Password.
• Then click on the Continue button.

How to TELUS Email Setup for iPhone?

• Open Settings in iPhone
• Click on Accounts & passwords then choose Add account
• Select Other
• Click on Add mail Account and enter following details:
  – Name: Enter your name
  – Email: email address
  – Password: password
  – Description: description for your account
• Tap Next.
• Select IMAP for your new account and enter the following information:
  Under Incoming Mail Server
  – Host name: imap.telus.net
  – Username: username@telus.net
  – Password: Your Webmail password
  Under Outgoing Mail Server
  – Host name: smtp.telus.net
  – Username: username@telus.net
  – Password: Your Webmail password
• If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish.

Travelling internationally

• Go to Settings
• Click on Mail and then Accounts
• Select your TELUS account
• Tap Account
• Under Advanced , scroll to the bottom
• Check the Incoming Settings are as follows:
  – Use SSL: On
  – Authentication: Password
  – IMAP Path Prefix: /
  – Server Port: 993
• Click < Account to go back
• Tap SMTP to confirm outgoing mail server settings
• Under Primary server, tap smtp.telus.net
• Check the following is set correctly:
  – Server: On
  – Host name: smtp.telus.net
  – Username: Your email address
  – Password: Your password
  – Use SSL: On
  – Authentication: Password
  – Server port: 1025
• Tap Save if you made any changes to these settings

Congratulations, you can now send and receive email on your iPhone device.

Setup TELUS Email Account on Android Phone / Tablet

• Step 1
  Open the Email app
• Step 2
  Select Menu , Settings, Add Account (+)
• Step 3
  Enter your telus.net email address and password and then click on Manual setup
• Step 4
  Select IMAP, for the Account type
• Step 5
  Enter following details for the Incoming server settings
  – Email Address: Your telus.net email address
  – Password: Your telus.net email password
  – IMAP server: imap.telus.net
  – Security type: SSL
  – Port: 993
• Step 6
  Select Next
• Step 7
  Enter following details, for the Outgoing server settings
  – SMTP server: smtp.telus.net
  – Security type: SSL
  – Port: **465
  – Require sign-in: checked
  – Username: your telus.net email address
  – Password: your telus.net email password

  Configure your account options on the next screen
• Step 9
  Select Next
• Step 10
  On the Set up email step, enter a name for this email account and a display name
• Step 11
  Select Done

How to Set up TELUS email on computer using Windows Live Mail?

  From the top taskbar, select Accounts

  – Email address: Your TELUS.net email address.
  – Password: Your TELUS.net email password
  – Check Remember this password
  – Display name for your sent messages: The name you would like recipients to receive

• Step 1
  With Mail open, Selects Settings> Manage Accounts> Add account
• Step 2
  Choose Other account
• Step 3
  Enter the following information:
  – Email address: Your TELUS.net email address
  – Password: Your TELUS.net password
• Step 4
  Click Sign in
• Step 5
  If you try three times and it fails to add the account, select Advanced
• Step 6
  Fill out the following information:
  – Account name: TELUS
  – Your name: This is what others will see when you email them
  – Incoming mail server: imap.telus.net
  – Account type: IMAP
  – Port: 993
  – Email address: Your TELUS.net email address
  – User name: Your TELUS.net username, generally your email address will work
  – Password: Your TELUS.net password
  – Outgoing (SMTP) email server: smtp.telus.net
  – Port: 465
  – Check outgoing server requires authentication
  – Check Use the same username and password for sending email
  – Uncheck SSL for incoming and outgoing email

  You should see an All done!  message

Set up TELUS email on computer using Mozilla Thunderbird

• Step 1
  Open Mozilla Thunderbird
• Step 2
  Select email under Set up an account
• Step 3
  Enter your name, your TELUS email address and leave the password blank
• Step 4
  Select Continue
• Step 5
  Your screen will update with the server information
• Step 6

  You will see a window from Google, with your account name pre-populated. Select Next

  Enter your password and select Sign in
• Step 9
  You will see a request for access from Thunderbird to use your Google Account. Select Allow

  Your account will begin to sync with Thunderbird

  Your TELUS email account is set up for use with Mozilla Thunderbird.
