What is PTD WebMail?
PTD Webmail is a web based email services, giving you the ability to check your email at anytime with Internet connection. You can access your email at anytime, as long as it was not already downloaded using an email client.
PTD Webmail Log in
- First open this webpage.
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Then click on the Sign in button.
How To Access in PTD Webmail Log in?
Ways to Log In:
Webmail is all online, so there’s nothing for your to set up. Simply log into using one of the Approaches below:
Option 1: Direct Login
- Open your Browser In your PC or Laptop.
- Browser to ptd.net and click My PenTeleData Webmail on the right side of the page.
- When prompted, enter your username and password.
– Your username will be everything before the “@” symbol in your email address.
– Your password will be the corresponding password for that account. - Then click on Login.
How to PTD Email Setup for iPhone?
- Go to iPhone settings option.
- Next, click on Mail, Contacts, Calendars then, choose Add Account.
- Select Other
- Then select Add Mail Account and enter following details:
– Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear when people receive messages from you.
– Address: Enter your email address
– Password: enter the password.
– Description: the information will appear automatically. - When done, select Next
- The iPhone will attempt to verify your information.
- If successful, you will return to Mail, Contacts, Calendars and your PenTeleData e-mail account will appear.
- Select your PenTeleData e-mail account.
- When the account information appears, scroll down and select Advanced.
- Under Incoming Settings, enable Use SSL.
- You are now finished and can return to your Desktop.
Server information:
- IMAP (incoming/host name): promail.ptd.net
- Port 143
- SMTP (outgoing/host name): promail.ptd.net
- Port 25 or 587
- SMTP Authentication is required

Setup PTD Email Account on Android Phone
- Step 1
Open Email application in your android device - Step 2
Enter your email address and password and select Manual Setup - Step 3
Choose IMAP Under Incoming Server
– IMAP server: promail.ptd.net
– Port: 143
– Security type: none - Enter the below outgoing SMTP Settings and click Select Next
– SMTP server: promail.ptd.net
– Port: 587
– Require sign-in: must be checked
– Username: Your PenTeleData email address
– Password: enter your password
– Account options: please review and select your options.
– Account name: any name is fine.
– Your name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear when people receive messages from you.
Congratulations! You’re all done here and ready to use your email accounts on your Android phone.
Setup PTD Email Account on Outlook 2016 (Windows)
- Step 1
Open Microsoft Outlook - Step 2
From File menu select Add Account - Step 3
Select to Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next. - Step 4
Then select to POP or IMAP and click Next. - Step 5
Enter following details in POP and IMAP Account settings
– Your Name: enter your name
– Email Address: enter your PenTeleData email address
– Account Type: choose IMAP from the drop down box.
– Incoming mail server: promail.ptd.net
– Outgoing mail server (SMTP): promail.ptd.net
– User Name: your email address will automatically appear after entering it into the “Email Address” field. Remove the @ptd.net from it.
– Password: enter the password - Step 6
Then click on the More Settings… button. - Step 7
Click on the Outgoing Server tab on the top of this window. - Step 8
Check to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, Then click on the Advanced tab. - Step 9
In the Outgoing server (SMTP): type 587 and click OK - Step 10
You will now be returned to the Add Account window, click Next to continue. - Step 11
Microsoft Outlook will automatically test the account settings. If both tests complete successfully, click Close. Otherwise recheck your settings. - Step 12
The Add Account wizard has now been completed. Click Finish to close the wizard.
Setup PTD Email Account on Windows 10 Mail App
- Step 1
Open Windows 10 Mail App - Step 2
Select the Gear symbol in the lower left of the Mail Application - Step 3
Select Advanced setup on Choose an account window - Step 4
In the Advanced setup window, choose Internet email and enter following details:
– Account name: enter your PenTeleData e-mail address.
– Your name: enter your name
– Incoming email server: enter promail.ptd.net
– Account type: select IMAP4
– User name: enter your PenTeleData account name, or the entire e-mail address.
– Password: enter the password that corresponds to your “User Name” entered above.
– Outgoing (SMTP) email server: enter promail.ptd.net - Step 5
Place a check in the box next to Outgoing server requires authentication and check in the box Use the same user name and password for sending email. - Step 6
Uncheck the following options
– Require SSL for incoming email
– Require SSL for outgoing email. - Step 7
Click, Sign-in. - Step 8
Click on Done.
Setup PTD Email Account on Thunderbird 3.0 (Windows)
- Step 1
Open Mozilla Thunderbird 3.0 - Step 2
Click on Tools and Select Accounts Settings… - Step 3
Then Account Settings dialog box will now appear, click on Outgoing Server (SMTP) - Step 4
Click on the edit button on the right hand side, in the Outgoing Server (SMTP) Settings window - Step 5
In the SMTP Server window, change the port to 587, then click on OK button - Step 6
Then click on the OK button, and your new settings have been saved.
Setup PTD Email Account on Mac Mail 5X
- Step 1
Open Mail - Step 1
Enter following details in Add Account window:
– Full Name: enter your name
– Email Address: enter your username Password: enter the password - Step 3
Click the Continue button - Step 4
Next, Incoming Mail Server window will appear, enter the following details:
– Account Type: select IMAP
– Description: type Your Name.
– Incoming Mail Server: enter promail.ptd.net
– User Name: enter the beginning part of your email address.
– Password: enter the password - Step 5
Click Continue - Step 6
If you would like to enable SSL place a check in the box next to Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), click the Continue button to continue. - Step 7
Next, Outgoing Mail Server window will appear, enter the following details:
– Outgoing Mail Server: enter promail.ptd.net
– Check mark in the boxes next to Use only this server and Use Authentication.
– User Name: Enter your username
– Password: Enter your password - Step 8
And click Continue - Step 9
If you would like to enable SSL place a check in the box next to Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), click the Continue button to continue. - Step 10
On the Account Summary window verify all the settings are correct. If any settings are incorrect, click Go Back, otherwise click Create.
