What is HostMonster WebMail?
HostMonster Webmail is an email service which accessible anywhere that has an internet connection because the application that sends and reads your mail is accessed on a website from your browser.
An Email system where a user may access their emails with a browser on any computer or device that’s connected to the web.
HostMonster offer two options for webmail that are built into your account: Roundcube or Horde. Each individual email user can choose which webmail client they want to use.
Creating A New Email Account
Legacy
- Open the Email Manager icon under the Email section.
- Click Create an Email Account button.
Rock
To create a GSuite or Office 365 email account:
- From the side navigation menu, click on the Email & Office tab.
- Click Manage.
- Click the Create.
To create a standard cPanel email account:
- From the side navigation menu, click the Advanced tab .
- Click on the Email Accounts icon from within the Email section.
- Click the Create.
Once you have the create email screen open:
- Email: enter email address.
- Password: enter password.
- The Password Strength: use a strong password.
- Password (Again): confirm the password.
- The Mailbox quota (optional):
- Once the User, Password, and Quota are all accurate; click the Create Account button.

- First visit HostMonster Webmail login page.
- Enter your Email and Password.
- Then click on the “Log in” button.

Modifying The Email Password Through Webmail
- Log in to Webmail.
- In the New Password textbox, enter your password.
- Enter the password again in the New Password textbox.
- Click the Change Password button.

- Log in to your HostMonster cPanel account.
- Click the Email tab.
- Click View Details
- Enter your new password
- Enter your password again
- Click the Change Password
How To Access in HostMonster Webmail Log in?
Ways to Log In:
Webmail is all online, so there’s nothing for your to set up. Simply log into using one of the Approaches below:
Option 1: Direct Login
- Open your Browser In your PC or Laptop.
- Go to HostMonster.com/webmail.
- Enter your email address and password, then click Login.
Option 2: Control Panel
You can also log into using a custom subdomain that sends to your webmail URL.
- Go to my.hostmonster.com/web-hosting/cplogin
- From the menu, click on Hosting then Email.
- Then scroll down to your own email address and click View Inbox.
- Then, type your email address password and click Login.
Option 3: Custom Subdomain (Advanced)
- Log in to your webmail using one of the choices listed above.
- Select a webmail client to access your mail. You may read more about our webmail clients in another section.
- Copy the complete URL from your address bar.
- Go back to your control panel and click on Domains > Subdomains from the home menu.
- Under Create a Subdomain, type a name to your new subdomain, such as”my email”.
- Warning: Do NOT use”email” as your own subdomain since it’s already in use and will lead to conflicts.
- Select your domain in the drop-down menu, then click Create.
- Consignor the main menu start a Domain > Redirect.
- Under Add Redirect, choose your new sub domain from the drop-down menu.
- Paste your webmail URL to the Redirects To field.
- Save by clicking the Add This Redirect button.

How to HostMonster Email Setup for iPhone?
- Go to iPhone settings option.
- Click Passwords and Accounts
- Click Add Account
- Select Other
- Click Add Mail Account
- Enter following details:
– Name: Enter your Name
– Email: Enter your email address as the Address
– Password: Enter the password for your email address - Click Next
- Select IMAP, Under incoming mail server enter following details:
– Host Name: mail.example.com
– User Name: Your email address.
– Password: The password for your email address. - Under outgoing server settings, enter following details:
– Hostname: mail.example.com
– Username: Your email address is your username
– Password: Your email account password - Tap Save.
- Go to Settings
- Choose your email account
- Click Advanced
- Under incoming settings.
– Use SSL: Yes
– Authentication: Password
– Server Port: 993 - Under outgoing settings
– Use SSL: Yes
– Authentication: Password
– Server Port: 465
Setup HostMonster Email Account on Android Phone
- Open the Gmail app go to the Settings
- Tap Add account.
- Click on Other
- Enter email address then click on Manual Setup
- Choose IMAP Account
- Under incoming server settings, enter the following details
– Username: Your email address
– Password: Your password
– IMAP server: mail.example.com
– Security type: SSL
– Port: 993 - Once the settings are entered, tap Next.
- Under outgoing server enter following details:
– Select Require Sign-In.
– Username: Enter your full email address
– Password: Enter your password
– Server: mail.example.com.
– Port: 465
– Security Type: SSL/TLS - Click Next.
- Email Checking Frequency: Set how often you would like your device to check for new emails.
- Tap Next.
HostMonster Email Account Setup on Windows Phone 8
- Open Settings
- Tap email + accounts
- Tap add an account
- Click advanced setup
- Type your Email address and Password
- Tap Next.
- Click Internet email
- Enter following details:
– Account Name: Enter an Account Name
– Your Name: Enter Your name
– Incoming email server: mail.example.com
– Account Type: IMAP4
– User name: Enter your full email address
– Password: Enter your password
– Outgoing (SMTP) email server: mail.example.com - Tap Advanced Settings
- Ensure that Outgoing server requires authentication is checked.
- If you’d like to use SSL for your connection to the server, check the boxes marked Require SSL for incoming email and Require SSL for outgoing email.
- Click Sign In
- If you used SSL to connect, you will see a warning that says “Attention Required” next to the email account you just set up. Tap the email account to continue.
- Tap Continue
Hostmonster Email Setup – Outlook 2016 For Windows
- Open Outlook 2016
- If you open Outlook first time, you’ll be prompted to create a new account.
- Click Add Account
- From the Add Account screen, you can either continue with Auto Account Setup, or select Manual setup or additional server types
- If you use Auto Account Setup, enter the following details:
– Your Name: Your name
– Email Address: Your email address
– Password: Your email password
– Retype Password: Your email password, again - Click Next. Outlook will connect to your mail server and auto-configure your settings for a secure IMAP connection.
- MANUAL ACCOUNT SETUP
- From the Add Account window, select Manual setup or additional server types, and click Next.
- Enter following details:
– Your Name: Enter your name
– Email Address: Enter your email address
– Account Type: Select IMAP or POP..
– Mail Servers: mail.example.com
– User Name: Enter your email address
– Password: Enter your email password - Click on More Settings button.
- In the General tab, enter the name by which you want to refer to this email account.
- Click the Outgoing Server tab. Check the box indicating your outgoing server requires authentication, and select the option to use the same settings as your incoming mail server.
- Click the Advanced tab. Refer to your Email Configuration Settings, as necessary.
- Click Okay
- If prompted, enter your username and email password, check the box to save your password, and then click OK.
- Outlook will configure your mail client by testing your account settings to ensure it works properly. Once the tests have completed successfully, click Close.
- Click Finish to proceed to your account.
Hostmonster Email Setup – Outlook 2013
- Click the File menu and tap Info
- Click on the Add Account button.
- Select Manual setup or additional server types
- Click Next.
- Select POP or IMAP
- Tap Next
- Enter following details:
User Information
– Your Name: Enter your Name
– Email Address: Enter your email address
Server Information
– Account Type: IMAP
– Incoming Mail Server: mail.example.com
– Outgoing Mail Server: mail.example.com
Logon Information
– User Name: Enter your email address
– Password: Enter your email password - Click the More Settings
- Tap the Outgoing Server tab
- Check the “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” checkbox.
- Make sure that it is using the same settings as your incoming mail server.
- Click the Advanced tab.
– If you are using POP3 with SSL, enter 995 for your port. Otherwise leave the port at 110.
– If you are using POP3, you may choose when messages are removed from the server.
– If you are using IMAP with SSL, enter 993 for your port. Otherwise leave the port at 143.
– If you are using SMTP with SSL, please enter 465 for your port. Otherwise change the port to 26. - Click the OK button.
- Tap Next on the E-mail Accounts window.
- Click the Finish button.
Setup HostMonster Email Account on Outlook 2011
- Tap on Tools menu and click Accounts
- Click E-mail Account
- Type your full E-mail address
- Enter the password
- User Name: Your full email address
- Incoming server: mail.example.com
- Outgoing Server: mail.example.com
- You may need to check the box to “Override default port” and use port 26 instead of the default port 25.
- Click Add Account.
Enable SMTP Authentication
- Tap on Tools menu and click Accounts
- Click E-mail Account
- Click the “More options…” button.
- From the Authentication: choose “Use Incoming Server Info“
- Click the Ok button.
Setup HostMonster Email Account on Windows Live Email
- Open Live Mail
- Click the Accounts Tab
- Click Email and enter following details:
– Enter your email address and password
– Enter the display name - Click Next
- Enter the Following settings:
– Server Type: Pop or IMAP
– Server Address: mail.yourdomain.com
– Logon user name: Your full email address
– Outgoing Server address: mail.yourdomain.com
– Check the box for Requires Authentication - Click Next
- Click Finish
Setup Hostmonster Email On Windows 10 Mail
- Open Mail, Click Get Started.
- Click Add account
- Tap the Settings
- Click on Accounts
- Click add Account
Enter Settings
- On the new account screen, choose Advanced Setup
- Select Internet email
- On the next screen, enter the following settings:
– Account Name: enter account name.
– Your Name: enter name
– Incoming Mail Server: mail.example.com
– Account Type: Choose IMAP4 (recommended) or POP3
– User Name: Enter the email address
– Password: The password for the email account
– Outgoing: mail.example.com
– Leave the checkboxes for “Outgoing server requires authentication“, “Use the same user name and password for sending mail“, “Require SSL for incoming email“, “Require SSL for outgoing email” checked.
Click the “Sign In” button - Click the Done, on the Setup Successful message
- If you receive an Untrusted certificate message, click the continue button.
Your email account should now be added to Windows 10 mail.
