What is Bluehost WebMail?

Webmail, or web-based email is an email service, that can be accessed anywhere using internet connection because the application that sends and reads your mail is accessed on a website from your browser. It contrasts with email support reachable through a specialized email customer software.

Create a new email account on Bluehost

Create a Google Workspace or Office 365 email account, Click here or:

  • Click on Email & Office tab from the side navigation menu to the left.
  • Click Manage next to the domain you wish to add an address for.
  • Click the Create button.

To create a standard cPanel email account:

  • From the side navigation menu, Click the Advanced.
  • Click on the Email Accounts, in the Email section.
  • Click the Create button.

Legacy

  • Under the hosting option, click on Email.
  • Under the Email Accounts section, click on the create an email account button.
  • On next page enter following details:
    – Domain: choose the specific domain where you would like to create an email address at.
    – Username: Enter the user you would like to use
    – Password: Enter the password
  • Select Storage Space
  • Once the User, Password, and Quota is all accurate, click the Create button.

Bluehost Webmail Log in

  • First open this webpage.
  • Enter your Email and Password.
  • Then click on the “Log in” button.

Changing the password of an email account

Bluerock

  • Click the Manage button.
  • Scroll down to locate the Security section, and enter your preferred new password.
  • Click the Update Email Settings button to save changes.

Legacy

  • Under the Current Email Accounts, look for the email account you wish to remove an address from.
  • Click the view details button on the right side.
  • Enter the new Password for the email account. Re-enter to confirm.
  • Click the change password button to change the password for the email account.

How To Access in Bluehost Webmail Log in?

Ways to Log In:

Webmail is all online, so there’s nothing for your to set up. Simply log into using one of the Approaches below:

Option 1: Direct Login

  • In your browser, go to my.Bluehost.com/webmail.
  • Enter your email address and password
  • Then click on Log in button.

Option 2: Control Panel

You can also log in using a custom subdomain that redirects to your webmail URL.

  • Visit at my.Bluehost.com and log in to your control panel
  • From the menu options, click Hosting > Email.
  • Scroll down to your email address and click View Inbox.
  • On the next page, enter your email address password and click Login.

Option 3: Custom Subdomain (Advanced)

You can also log in using a custom subdomain that redirects to your webmail URL.

  • Log in to your webmail using one of the choices listed above.
  • Select a webmail client to access your mail. You can read more about Bluehost webmail clients in the next section.
  • Copy the complete URL from your address bar.
  • Go back to your control panel and click Domains > Subdomains from the main menu.
  • Under Create a Subdomain, type a name for your new subdomain, such as “myemail”.
    – Warning: Do NOT use “mail” as your subdomain since it’s already in use and will result in conflicts.
  • Select your domain from the drop-down menu
  • Then click Create.
  • From the main menu, go to Domains > Redirect.
  • Under Add Redirect, select your new subdomain from the drop-down menu.
  • Paste your webmail URL into the Redirects To field.
  • Save by clicking the Add This Redirect button.

How to Bluehost Email Setup for iPhone?

  • Go to iPhone settings option.
  • On the Setting, scroll down and click Mail.
  • Tap on Add Account.
  • Choose Other.
  • Then Choose Add Mail Account.
  • In New Account Section enter following details
    – Name: Enter your name.
    – Email: Enter your email address.
    – Password: Enter the password for your email address.
    – Description: Enter description or domain name.
  • Once done, click Next.
  • Under Incoming Mail Server enter following details:
    – Host Name: mail.yourdomainname.com (This can be found in the E-mail Accounts section of the cPanel, under More > Configure Mail Client.)
    – User Name: Your email address.
    – Password: The password for your email address.
  • Under the Outgoing Mail Server enter following details:
    – Host Name: mail.yourdomainname.com (This can be found in the E-mail Accounts section of the cPanel, under More > Configure Mail Client.)
    – User Name: Your email address.
    – Password: The password for your email address.
  • Tap Next.
  • Cannot Verify Server Identity – Click continue to accept the certificate.
  • The final screen will ask if you want mail and notes turned on for this account. Leave them both on and tap Save.
    – Leave Mail and Notes set to on.
    – Tap Save.

Congratulations, you can now send and receive email on your iPhone device.

Setup Bluehost Email Account on Android Phone

  • Step 1
    Start by choosing the Mail icon in your applications screen and go to navigate to the Settings section
  • Step 2
    Tap Add account.
  • Step 3
    Tap Personal (IMAP/POP) and then Next.
  • Step 4
    Enter your full email address and tap Next.
  • Step 5
    Choose the type of email account you will be using.
    – POP3 will download the emails from the server and store them on your phone.
    – IMAP will store the emails on the server and show a cached copy on your phone. IMAP is best for most cases.
    – Exchange is not supported because it requires a Microsoft Exchange server.
  • Step 6
    Enter the password for your email address and tap Next.
  • Step 7
    Under Incoming Server Settings enter the following details:
    – Username: Enter your full email address
    – Password: Enter your password
    – Server: This is your domain name preceded by “mail.”
    – Port and Security Type:
    – If you’re using POP, choose either:
    – Secure – Port: 995
    – Security Type: SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
    – Insecure – Port: 110
    – Security Type: None
    – If you’re using IMAP, choose either:
    – Secure – Port: 993
    – Security Type: SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
    – Insecure – Port: 143
    – Security Type: None (Accept all certificates)
    – Once the settings are entered, tap Next.
  • Step 8
    Under Outgoing Server Settings enter the following details:
    – Select Require Sign-In.
    – Username: Enter your email address
    – Password: Enter your password
    – Server: This is your domain name preceded by “mail.” like mail.example.com.
    – For SMTP Port and Security Type, choose either:
    – Secure – Port: 465 and Security Type: SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
    – Insecure – Port: 26 and Security Type: None (Accept all certificates)
    – Once the settings are entered, tap Next.
  • Account Options
    – Email Checking Frequency: Set how often you would like your device to check for new emails.
    – Notify me when email arrives: Leave this checked if you would like to be notified of new emails.
    – Sync email from this account: Leave this checked if you want email to be checked automatically.
    – Tap Next.

Congratulations! You’re all done here and ready to use your email accounts on your Android phone.

Setup Email Application: Outlook 2016 for Windows

  • Step 1
    Open Microsoft Outlook 2019 on your computer
  • Step 2
    Click on File Menu > Add Account and enter following details
    – Enter your Email Address.
    – Check the box that reads, Let me set up my account manually.
    – Click on Connect.
  • Step 3
    Select POP or IMAP depending upon the Incoming Protocol you prefer.
  • Step 4
    Then click on Next.
  • SSL Email Port Settings
    – Outgoing Server SMTP – smtp.domainname.com – Port 26/587
    – Incoming Server IMAP – imap.domainname.com – Port 993
    – Incoming Server POP – pop.domainname.com – Port 995
  • Non-SSL Email Port Settings
    – Outgoing Server SMTP – mail.domainname.com – Port 25/587
    – Incoming Server IMAP – mail.domainname.com – Port 143
    – Incoming Server POP – mail.domainname.com – Port 110
  • Step 5
    Enter the password for your email account with them and click on Connect.
  • Step 6
    Your email account has been configured successfully!
    Click on Done to conclude the process.
  • Step 7
    You can now send and receive emails from your Email Client.

Email Application Setup – Mozilla Thunderbird

  • Step 1
    First open Thunderbird and Select Email under the Create a New Account icon.
  • Step 2
    Then Enter your Name as you would like it to appear on your outgoing mail messages.
    – Enter your Email address
    – Enter your Email password
  • Step 3
    Click the Continue button
  • Step 4
    Once the automatic setup has completed click Manual Config.
  • Step 5
    Enter following details under (IMAP) Incoming server setting
    – Server hostname: mail.yourdomin.com
    – Port: 993
    – SSL: SSL/TLS
    – Authentication: Normal Paasword
    Enter following details under (SMTP) Outgoing server setting
    – Server hostname: mail.yourdomin.com
    – Port: 465
    – SSL: SSL/TLS
    – Authentication: Normal Paasword
    Username: Your email address
  • Click Done.
  • If you are prompted with a security warning select permanently store this exception. Then click Confirm Security Exception.

You should now be able to send and receive mail after a few seconds of verification.
